Mass Drop Mondays

Massdrop.com is a great place to find great gear at discounts when it's not on sale elsewhere. Join the drop to help meet the next price break, or to take advantage of the discount achieved from everyone else's commitment.  Every Monday I'll bring you the items that I think will help you Get the Fun Out!  Drops are available for a limited time only, those below are currently available but could end soon.

Darn Tough hiker socks - Darn Toughs are the only socks I wear while hiking or biking.  They have a lifetime warranty.  Socks...with a lifetime warranty!  My oldest pair is about 10 years old and still going strong.

Sierra Designs dry down jacket - I haven't used it myself, but a light weight down coat for $55 ($100 off) is an attention catcher...especially when it features water resistant dry down.

LuminAid inflatable solar and USB powered lamp - I love this product for camping and backpacking.  It lights a backpacking tent like a luxury, with the weight of a feather.  Being inflatable it takes up nearly no space, and being solar powered it can go on its own.  But the USB backup is nice when you're in a pinch.  Or go for the competition, Luci USB powered.

Klymit ultralight sleeping pad - I'm not personally a fan of Klymit products, but they have a huge following in the backpacking community.  And at $60 for an ultralight pad with an R value of 4.4, I could probably get over my reservations.  Or the Static V pad, or the X Pillow

Nikon 35mm F1.8 digital lens. - nothing more needs to be said.

Keith Titanium Single-Wall Titanium Mug - choose between sizes 400ml and 750 ml.  I have the 500ml that went with me on my recent elk hunt.  I prefer single wall over double because I can use it to boil water in an emergency.  And it's so light it's not noticeable.  Was great to have to enjoy a hot tea on a cold, wet, windy afternoon.

There is a wide variety of knives, other camera lenses, Massdrop made down quilts/under quilts, and more.  New drops are added daily so check it out!

Purchasing through any of the above links might earn me $10 in Massdrop credit.
