Apps to GTFO

These are some of the best apps I've come across to find events, activities, happy hours, restaurants, and more.  

• New Times Mobile Apps - links to page to download Happy Hours, Best of, and Local Edition apps for iOS, Android, or Blackberry. 
• Happy hours is an excellent app.
• Eventbrite - search local events and activities including festivals, races, concerts, etc. 
• Eventseekr - similar to above, but databases have different info. (links to Google Play Store for Android)
• Boulders on Broadway Beer List App (links to Google Play Store for Android)
• Hotel Tonight - at once, this app has incredible use and limited use. Great for spontaneous trips as long as you go to one of the supported cities (but has worldwide offerings) and don't mind flying by the seat of your pants. The app returns vacancies only for 'tonight' of the day you actually perform the search.
• Open Table - (links to Open Table mobile, choose your OS from there) - find nearby restaurants with an 'open table' and book a reservation immediately, or search a specific restaurant and make your reservation remotely.
• Yelp - (links to Yelp mobile, choose your OS from there) - Restaurant/business/event/activity discovery and reviews.  Take the reviews with a grain of salt, maybe a block of salt, this app is most useful for finding what's around and what's open.
