Arizona Get Outdoors Expo 2017

If you’re anything like me, each time summer rolls around to Phoenix you can’t do anything but fantasize about it not being summer in Phoenix.  Luckily for us, the 2017 Arizona Get Outdoors Expo is here to help!  
First, you can actually get out of Phoenix to the Expo’s first showing in Flagstaff on June 24 and 25 at the Pepsi Amphitheater.  Or, if you can’t get to the sweet shade and cooler temperatures of Flagstaff, you can visit the air conditioning in Scottsdale’s WestWorld a couple weeks later on July 15 and 16. 

At either location you’ll be treated with exhibitors, catch-and-release fishing, archery, a climbing wall, and The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show!

If you’re wondering about some of the finer details, I was able to reach out to the PR company to have a few of my questions answered:
  • There is a fee for parking, maybe cash only.  I’m not sure how much, but if I’m not getting some change back from a $10 then I’ll not be parking…
  • There will be food and drink available (including bars!!); the Flagstaff expo will also feature a BBQ competition!
